Solid Brass Your Door Knocker was designed by Michael Healy for easy mounting. The included mounting screws work well with both wood and metal doors.
1. Hold your Door Knocker in the desired position on your door and mark hole locations with a pencil.
2. Drill guide holes using a 1/8" drill bit. Screws accept a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Some designs will require that the body of the Door Knocker be removed before the mounting bracket can be attached.
4. Screw the mounting bracket into desired position.
5. If required, re-attach the body of the Door Knocker to the mounting bracket. Width 3.75", Height 6" Depth 2.5", Weight 3 lbs Usually leaves warehouse in two days or less. Nantucket lightship baskets originated in the nineteenth century on Nantucket Islands famous South Shoal lightship. Captain and crew took to basket weaving to pass the time on board. By the beginning of the twentieth century these baskets were being avidly collected by the moneyed yachting set. The passion for Nantucket continues into the present century. Nantucket baskets are made of traditional materials: hardwood, Indonesian rattan cane and bone turnings. You too can have a Nantucket Basket on your front door. |
